BBL Sofa by Reza Feiz for Phase Design.

The cantilevered houses that pepper Reza’s neighborhood in the Hollywood Hills are the inspiration for the bb series that is comprised of a chair, loveseat and sofa. These houses jut out from the hills and seem magically suspended over the Los Angeles landscape. Like the architecture, the bbc2, bbl, and bbxl play with balance, structure, and functionality. The one-foot overhang creates a unique harmony with the base and can serve as a backrest, armrest or a ledge for drinks.
