Table 2 by Fredrikson Stallard - twentieth in Los Angeles features the work of London based design team Patrik Fredrikson and Ian Stallard. Their pieces have been described as "fairy tales for for grown ups". They see the current design environment as "...more fluid, more transient..." and feel the need to "..leave behind modernism's driving imperative - mass production by industrial means..." Table 2, which is natural birch bundled in blued steel is intended to "provoke a discussion about the possiblities of design".
